I want to express my gratitude for all your prayers and support to our BM warden, Jeniffer Balang’s family. Thank you for praying for her son, Sherman who met with an accident. He’s recovering and now resting. I can see God was watching over Sherman. I am also very encouraged to see the respond on donating blood for Sherman’s operation. I thank God for all of you who have made the effort to donate blood. We manage to gather more than enough pines of blood for the doctors to proceed with the operation. Even the doctors were amazed by the total pines of blood collected for Sherman. Our unity and care have made an impact to the doctors and nurses as much as to the family. As your pastor, I am proud of all of you. Well done, Christ the King.
Today, we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a celebration of hope. Resurrection is about our Lord ‘going ahead’ of us and for us. He has ‘gone ahead’ to prepare a place for each one of us in the Father’s house (John 14:2). This is the resurrection hope. He has also ‘gone ahead’ of us to meet us in each situation and circumstances in life. He wants to empower us for our preservation unto eternity. He accompanies us and carries our burden so that we may faithfully complete our pilgrimage on earth. Our Lord is alive and He is moving among us. Christians are people of hope and victory because of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today
He walks with me and talks with me
Along life’s narrow way
He lives, He lives, salvation to impart
You ask me how I know He lives
He lives within my heart
We also celebrate 2 baptisms today, one each in our combined and BM service. I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents…(Luke 15:7) What a glorious and joyous day.
Christ the Lord is risen today! Hallelujah!!!
